At the invitation of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, just under 400 young adults from more than 50 countries did meet up in Berlin from 17 to 20 October for the history festival “WAR OR PEACE. Crossroads of History 1918 | 2018”. Over the course of three days, they worked on topics around World War I and its aftermath in various workshops. The goal was for them to discover and discuss different narratives and unknown perspectives.

Exhibitions, city tours, theatre and arts sessions as well as various other interactive formats rounded off the programme. The highlights of our programme above were all open to the public. All performances by the Maxim Gorki Theatre you can also find on their website
