Festival Registration Kicks Off!

We surely hope that you have already noticed: registration for the WAR OR PEACE festival is now open! Until 15 July, you can register for our festival. Let us invite you to vibrant Berlin to meet up with artists, scientists and young activists from all over the world to reflect on war and peace throughout history!

One important step towards participating in the event is selecting your workshop. Here you can find the whole range of workshops on offer. As the goal of this festival is to illuminate diverse and often competing perspectives on World War I and its aftermath as well as war and peace today, this will be reflected in the workshops.

Sometimes, they will deal with obvious dichotomies, such as hope and uncertainty at the end of war. Sometimes, however, they will examine what does not appear to be a contrast at first sight at all, such as purpose and perception of war memorials. And sometimes, they will reflect on competing concepts for a peaceful future now and then. Also, get ready to engage with the subject with unusual and creative methods that will open up exciting new insights.

Essentially, you will see that you are spoilt for choice. And we hope that you will all find not just one, but several workshops that arouse your interest. In the registration form, you can state up to six preferences. Along with your confirmation of participation, you will find out which workshop we can offer you to take part in.
