A Portal into an Unknown World – Have you heard of SHARED_STUDIOS yet? No? Then it’s about time!

According to the SHARED_STUDIOS’ founder Amar Bakshi, the project aims at creating a global network of publicly accessible one-on-one booths. In golden containers people from all over the world can talk about the weather, listen to music or debate political issues across all forms of distance. Aided by curators and translators the Portals connects communities that wouldn’t otherwise find opportunities to interact. SHARED_STUDIOS create thus an interconnected environment around the world.

One of the many Portals around the world is the Berlin_Portal of the Migration Hub Network. The golden container is currently placed in the garden of the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin. In addition to the many workshops and events of the War or Peace Festival, SHARED_STUDIOS offers a great opportunity to join face-to-face sessions with people from Erbil, Herat, Astana and many other places.
